  • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements including:

    • Aspirin

    • Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve (NSAIDs)

    • Vitamin E

    • Ginkgo Biloba, Turmeric, Ginseng, St. John’s Wort

    • Omega-3/Fish Oil

Always check with your prescribing provider before stopping any medications.

📅 Plan Accordingly

  • Schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks before any major event or photos (e.g., weddings, vacations).

  • Temporary swelling, bruising, or asymmetry may occur during the first few days, and full results typically develop over 2 weeks.

😷 If You’re Ill or Have Skin Concerns

  • Please reschedule 24+ hours in advance if you have:

    • A rash, blemish, or breakout at the treatment area

    • A cold sore or history of herpes simplex (notify us—we may recommend an antiviral)

  • Eat a light meal and stay hydrated to help prevent dizziness or lightheadedness.

  • You are not a candidate for treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Follow these important aftercare steps to ensure your results develop properly and side effects are minimized:

🕒 For the First 4 Hours After Treatment

  • Do not lie flat — a reclined position is okay, but avoid being completely horizontal.

  • No tight hats or headbands — especially if treated between the brows or forehead.

  • No vigorous exercise — avoid anything that elevates your heart rate (running, swimming, etc.).

  • Avoid touching the area — no massaging, pressing, or manipulating treated zones.
