🧬 Before Your Asclera® Treatment

To ensure optimal results and reduce potential side effects, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines:

🚫 Avoid These Before Treatment:

  • No blood-thinning medications or supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for 7 days prior, unless otherwise directed by your provider.

  • Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours before treatment to support circulation and healing.

  • Do not apply lotions or oils to your legs on the day of your procedure.

👚 What to Wear:

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You’ll be asked to wear compression stockings post-treatment, so plan accordingly.

📅 Timing Around Events:

  • Plan treatment at least 2–3 weeks before any major event or travel, as mild bruising or discoloration is possible during healing.

💉 What to Expect During Your Asclera® Treatment

  • Treatment typically takes 15–45 minutes, depending on the number of veins treated.

  • You may feel a mild burning or tingling at the injection site—this is normal and typically subsides quickly.

  • You’ll be fitted with compression stockings or bandages immediately after the procedure.

✨ After Your Asclera® Treatment

🧦 Compression Stockings:

  • Wear compression stockings or support hose continuously for 2–3 days, then during the day for up to 2 weeks.

  • Compression helps collapse the treated veins and improves circulation during healing.

🚶‍♀️ Keep Moving:

  • Walk for 15–20 minutes immediately after your treatment.

  • Continue daily walking to encourage healthy blood flow.

🚫 Avoid for 48 Hours:

  • No strenuous exercise

  • No hot baths, saunas, or hot tubs

  • No prolonged sitting or standing

🩹 Healing Expectations:

  • Mild bruising, redness, or tenderness is common and usually resolves within a few days.

  • Temporary darkening of veins or small scabs may occur as part of the healing process.
